This project involved the rejuvenation of planting in a neighbourhood plaza in Greenwich. The focus was on increasing the biodiversity and range of flowers throughout the seasons. The community gardening group carried out the planting and subsequently maintained the raised planters. A mix of herbaceous perennials, ornamental grasses and bulbs were used to create a mixed and dynamic scheme.

Spring was defined by early flowering Crocuses and Chionodoxa, followed by a mass display of yellow Tulips. A range of flowering perennials followed through summer and autumn, including Coneflowers, Lavender, Crocosmia, Daylillies, Asters, Red Hot Pokers and Salvias. Ornamental grasses were used to add movement.
